TEQUILA LIPS
IF this Potteries based 5-piece did not have the thriving energy, vibe and not to mention subtle style and good-looks, then they would be just another unsigned indie-rock band.
Combine this with a passion and drive to become the best and you have something worth talking about.
After just over a year together the band have started to consistently produce the kind of quality material needed to make this band stand out amongst the rest.
Throughout the summer of '09 their on stage performance and song repertoire has continued to evolve, pitching them at a level which has seen them hold the headline slot on this year's unsigned stage at Love Music Hate Racism Festival (Britannia Stadium, May 30th) and command the main support slot to The Holloways (October 23rd, 2009) in their hometown.
People are standing up and taking notice.
"Tequila Lips are the kind of no-nonsense guitar band music lovers have been waiting for!
Their anthemic tunes and raw, energetic performances just cannot be ignored."
Rob Adcock - BBC Radio, May 2009
